With only 6 days to go until the big day we are treating you to a bumper Monday listening package.
First up is an excerpt from last year’s Ex Easter Island Head & BBC Philharmonic Ensemble collaboration. The composition, presented by Samarbeta, will be having a reprise this year as the tour-de-fource combine once more for 2016. The piece will feature a double bass, a harpist, a trumpet and a violin and will be performed in the grand surroundings of Salford Cathedral, a festival first.
It will be performed twice on the day (19:45pm & 21:00) and will have a limited audience capacity. To attend one of the performances you will require a festival ticket (available from Skiddle) and you will need to collect a FREE ticket from the Islington Mill Wristband Exchange which will be available to collect from 2pm onwards on a first come, first served basis.
Next up, party purveyors, Night Fantasy have recorded an exclusive mix just for us to help you get pumped ahead of their after-party at First Chop Brewing Arm with Franz Ferdinand drummer, Paul Thomson.
Mark our words folk this is gonna be one hell of a year. Last few tickets remain via Skiddle.com
