Sounds From The Other City

February 24, 2017

Horsebeach, David Nance, Simon Joyner, Lee Southall added to SFTOC line-up

With just over two months to go until Sounds from the Other City 2017, we’re pleased to be able to announce another small raft of names for Salford’s annual celebration of new music, art and so much more. Following our initial names (including Goat Girl, Ex-Easter Island Head, Fazerdaze among others), we’re proud to be able to add the following names to the line-up; local legends and purveyors of upbeat, dreamy indie-pop HORSEBEACH; Omaha’s best-kept secret DAVID NANCE; lo-fi hero & renowned American singer-songwriter SIMON JOYNER; and ex-The Coral guitarist and all-round virtuoso LEE SOUTHALL. Find out more about each act on our Line-up A-Z page, as well as seeing all the other names that will be playing SFTOC on April 30th.

Tickets are selling faster than ever before – get yours from Skiddle here: https://www.skiddle.com/festivals/sounds-from-the-other-city/

Physical tickets will be available from Common Bar, Piccadilly Records, Kings Arms and Old Pint Pot very shortly – check twitter for more details.

In the meantime, our seemingly resident cult SOUND OF THE NEW DAWN have sent us their forth initiation tape – it looks like they’re going to be here to stay at SFTOC, so we may as well all strap in and…join them?
