A tight, succinct 4 piece that is centered around sharp bursts of rhythmical energy. They hail from Manchester UK, beginning in early 2015 and have made steady progress towards their current sound but with a view to keep developing and experimenting. Their songs, varied in their scope, comment on the human condition and arbitrary, sometimes strange scenarios or themes.
Within the last year the band have played an increasing number of shows, playing with many local acts on the Manchester and Leeds DIY scenes as well as supporting larger touring bands, such as Gang of Four, The Raincoats and Omni. DUDS also embarked on a 2-week tour of Sweden and UK in October/November of 2016 to promote the Wet Reduction EP released on the Swedish label Maternal Voice. Alongside the increasing number of shows, DUDS have also been in session for a weekday evening show on BBC radio 6 and continue to be played every week.
We expect a lot from these guys, with End of the Road festival and 6 Music festival slots already booked in for later in the year, you should definitely not miss out!
