THE LINE UP:
Legowelt
Legowelt is the long running brainchild of Danny Wolfers. The music has been a rare hybrid of slam jack electronics combined with deep Chicago house, romantic ghetto technofunk and Euro soundtracks - the sound that comes out the other end is hard to pigenhole but it sure as hell slams the pit!
Legowelt has released on the seminal dutch label Bunker Records, has one of 2002's major hits on the dance underground with Disco Rout' and recently released The Rise and Fall of Manuel Noriega, made with a Yamaha QY70, Korg Vocoder and MS20 synthesizer! We are pleased to welcome a true master!
Digitonal
Andy Dobson's cinematic electronica project has been going since 1999 and has seen releases through cult UK labels like Toytronic, Seed and Cactus Island.
Now in a new home at leading UK chillout label Just Music, and with second album Save Your Light for Darker Days released in 2008 to great acclaim, Digitonal's collision of string drenched beauty, melodic electronics and expansive beats continues to push electronica into new territory. Uplifting, emotive and beautiful.
English Electric
English Electric's cosmiche dancehall sound has been gaining plaudits over the past couple of years, with releases on Mighty Robot Recordings and Dumb Terminal, and a handful of live sets up and down the country. Blending italokraut arpeggiations, OST moods and micro- produced beats, English Electric's live sets are a positively floor pleasing mind trip.

So to coincide with the launch of the label BOPSTAG,BOPS will be playing for the awesome TERRORIST crew, expect a mish-mash of technoise and houso and lots more in-between!
Mark Jones

In 2006 he released his debut album 'Slush' on HippoCamp records and released singles on French label Digitalbiotope in 2007. After a year or so in the creative wilderness and spending the summer DJing out in Vancouver he has returned with a new style fusing techno rhythms, electro sounds and dark melodies.
Dorian Wood
Avante artist/musician Dorian Wood makes a rare appearance following from his live set at Homoelectric two years ago where he seduced and blew everyone away with his raw, loosely improvised, piano/guitar set which went off on tangents of howling blues soaked soulsearching.
Dark, soulful compositions, with themes ranging from fiery lakes and modern-day plagues to love's incurable diseases, come alive via the spiraling wail/battle cry of Los Angeles-based singer/composer Dorian Wood. With a sound that echoes both Scott Walker and Nina Simone, Wood's work has been presented in a wide range of formats: piano, accordion, a cappella, or accompanied by a Bulgarian women's choir or 25-piece.
Gordon Tinnitus
Originally from Northern Ireland, Gordon Tinnitus is an up-and coming electronica artist based in Manchester. His unique sound covers a broad spectrum of genres ranging from beautiful, melodic, progressive electronica right through to heavy break-beats and chaotic noise. Certain influences can be recognised from record labels such as Warp Records, Reflex and Planet Mu. Last year his EP, Unhealthy Obsessions was played on Radio One, despite never being released commercially.
As far as the live show is concerned, it could go cheerful and funky or dark and nasty! Expect a variety of genres mashed together as Gordon plays a wide range of his material, new and old, LIVE!
