PROSTITUTES & POLICEMEN at MARK ADDY
After opening its doors in April 2007, Prostitutes & Policemen has gone from strength to strength, showcasing the best in electro talent from all over the globe. 2007 ended on a massive double high with the sell out event for SebastiAn and becoming club of the month in mixmag!
With MSTRKRFT and SWITCH also lined up in 2008, Prostitutes and Policemen have kept one step ahead of the superclubs by drawing the biggest names to their DIY parties. With their first birthday falling at the end of April, SFTOC will see Prostitues and Policemen round off their week-long birthday celebrations with one huge blowout at the Mark Addy.
MAN LIKE ME

Oh! My! Gosh! Man Like Me are only popping down th'Mark Addy this Bank Holiday!
If you're fed up to the back teeth by modern culture, then Man Like Me's nihilistic assasination of great swathes of MTV-endorsed shite will, literally, be music to your ears. With a thick-Brit accent, lines like "I Really couldn't give a toss about that music video" take on an oddly comical/menacing spin, made all the more brusque by the electro-pepped backing and squelchy bass.
MODERNAIRE
Modernaire is a Manchester trio that is a heady mix of midnight synthesizers, tales of murder and intrigue, choral harmonies and electronic drums of war.
Making a welcome return to SFTOC, Oscar Wildstyle and co have been very busy indeed over the course of the past 12 months, playing shows with the likes of The Whip, Yelle and Friendly Fires and bagging themselves some radio one airplay to boot.

THE THIEF

THE WITCHES
DARLINGS OF THE SPLITSCREEN
Who are Darlings Of The Splitscreen, otherwise known as DOTS ??? Some have said that they are three brothers, triplets in fact, separated at birth and reunited years later by pure chance and a shared love of squelching synth parts. Others have said that these three singers are just a cover, miming over the work of some evil mastermind of an electro genius. Still others maintain that, while they claim to be three southerners who made a musical pilgrimage to the steel city and never left, they are in fact variously; the lineup of heaven 17 in disguise, or a collaboration between Will Young, Matt Willis and Robert Plant.

THE BADICAL
The Badical began causing electro trouble in 2005 and seemed to
naturally gain momentum before finally evolving into its latest form
in early 2007, as 2 gentlemen bringing the live electronic lazer noize
to whoever will listen.
