Every year around this time we get a little help from our friends in making sure that SFTOC-goers can bask in the sun.
Common Bar, the vibe providers, have been righteous since 2004 – and started bringing sunshine to SFTOC in 2011. We highly recommend you go and pay them a visit – they’ve just had a good old refit, they have a lorra laughs on twitter and they are all round good eggs. While they normally sell Sounds tickets, the big overhaul has meant they’ve been unable to – but we’re happy to report that Common’s Iwan has carried on tradition by doing his annual sun dance – this time taking it to the extreme.
Joined by S J Hockett and featuring the ritual sacrifice of Iwan’s toy Hjenry (which he has had since the age of 3, RIP) as well as Welsh chants, if this doesn’t work we don’t know what will.
Thanks for the dance, we will get on copying it too to hope it works again this year…
SFTOC Tickets are available priced at £20 from Skiddle here: https://bitly.com/1AOTJ9a as well as in person from Piccadilly Records, and booking fee free from North Tea Power, Font Bars Manchester and the Kings Arm.
