BIMM Manchester are thrilled to have a stage at SFTOC this year! In order to showcase some of our up and coming artists we have teamed up with our awesome student promoters and production team to put together an exciting program of acoustic acts and DJ’s at Le Cassis (Unit 3, Vimto Gardens, Chapel Street, Salford M3 5JF). Top of the Hill showcase a variety of genres, ranging from folk to heavy rock bands with all that comes in between! Founding members Brogan Main and Jenna Gamble launched the company in 2017 after realising their joint love of live music and have since worked with several touring bands and local acts, put gigs on in both Manchester and Liverpool and run stages at local festivals, allowing them to create a platform in Manchester for artists all over the UK. Ever since discovering a love for festivals and dance music, Ella Henry has fully immersed herself in her Event Management career in Manchester, getting involved with the club scene and developing her skills across a range of events including stage management at Beatherder festival and as a Club Promotions intern at Mission Mars. She has even put on her own very successful club night, Wave, which debuted at Soup Kitchen, cementing her passion for the club scene in Manchester.
Finally, overseeing the stage for the day is our Production Manager, Adam Pyzer, who joined BIMM this year to gain further experience of live sound. Since joining us, he’s supported our End of Term gigs, learnt to DJ and put on his own events leading him to senior production roles at SFTOC and other popular Manchester festivals and BIMM events.

British singer/songwriter, Abbie Ozard, has been writing music in the small market town of Nantwich since the tender age of 14. Being inspired by the likes of Daughter, Marika Hackman, Billie Eilish and many more, she has been able to mould her own unique alternative pop sound. Abbie’s newly released single, ‘Average Disguise’ has been a long and well thought out process and has allowed her to find her own sound and grow as an artist.

Based in Manchester, five strangers are linked by familiarity. Their sound fuses psychedelic bluesy rock n roll with melancholic ambience. Their anthemic songs scream passion while they showcase concise arrangement and intense live performances. A sound that would wear velvet – Strangers gather to fashion a storm and in this weather their meaning is born.
GOUX is a 22 year old Singer, Songwriter, Producer and DJ based in Manchester. After spending the past year being locked away in her bedroom, working with different synthesizers and drum machines, GOUX is finally releasing her first self-titled EP! Focusing on an eclectic blend of music ranging from Brazilian disco to the house music of Chicago, I try and always keep things more fun than serious. The only thing I care about when I’m playing music is that the people I’m playing to are enjoying themselves.
Joe Roberts (Modulus) began DJing at the age of 16 as well as educating himself on producing house and techno shortly after. In 2015 he made the decision to move to Manchester which has in turn resulted in various bookings across the city as well as being part of the lo-fi house collective ‘Wave’.
