8 DAYS TIL SFTOC: IMPATV Instagram takeover, including SFTOC ticket competition

With only 8 (eight!) days to go until Sounds from the Other City Quindecennial, we’re taking the opportunity to hand over the keys for our Instagram over to another one of our art directors – this time, IMPATV will be your guides. Having worked as SFTOC.TV back in 2016 (when they broadcast Bad Uncle’s entire stage through YouTube), they were our art directors for Sounds 2017 where they brought us Sound of the New Dawn. Creating a cult that took over Chapel Street, culminating in the Pleasure Temple Procession across the whole SFTOC site. We’ve overjoyed to have them back – and they’re giving away a pair of Sounds tickets. Find out more below, and follow them throughout the day: instagram.com/sftoc

We’re down to around 100 tickets left – they’ll be gone before the big day – don’t miss out: https://www.skiddle.com/festivals/sounds-from-the-other-city/

IMPATV present OUMUAMUA ⁣
Space, the final frontier. ⁣
The voyage of starship Oumuamua,⁣
A one day mission,⁣
To explore a strange new world,⁣
To seek out new life,⁣
And new civilisations.⁣
To boldly go where no man has gone before…….⁣

🚀IMPATV have touched base with Earth’s first interstellar visitor, a messenger sent from a phantasmic landscape in the distant past to reach out to humanity. It’s objectives and it’s message, are still unknown – but come May 5th that all could change. In collaboration with Sounds, IMPATV invite you to imagine, reflect, and experience… exactly what you’ll discover remains to be see, but one thing’s for certain – we can’t wait to find out💫⁣

Isadora Darke and Jamie Robinson have been working together under the IMPATV moniker since 2015, collaborating with a network of both home-grown and international talent to record and broadcast music and performances, and producing large scale installations that incorporate interactive video, sculpture and performance not to mention Art Directors with ‘The Sounds of the New Dawn’ back in 2017. But whatever these busy bees cast their hand at, their unique visual aesthetic shines bright – born from experimentation and the interplay of obsolete video equipment and new technologies. You’ll love what they’ve cooked up for us this year…😍⁣
