Sounds From The Other City

5 DAYS TIL SFTOC: All the lovely EXTRA BITS, including our the SFTOC Zine, Merch, and Quindecennial DJs

We’ve always prided ourselves at Sounds of stuffing as much in as possible to as little time and space as possible. In the past we’ve had Andrew W.K. do a gig to a single person in a telephone box, and this year we’ve got Life At Large providing entertainment in the queue for the portaloos, for example. As the big day approaches – we’re only FIVE DAYS AWAY NOW PEOPLE – we’re still getting as much as possible into the SFTOC Quindecennial experience to make sure that not a single second of your day goes to waste. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the things you may have missed, that will take your day from 💯 to 💯💯💯, with all the requisite  SFTOC silliness that comes alongside it. Have a look at all the lovely extra bits you’ll be experiencing on the day below.

Tickets are now SOLD OUT – however, resale is available through Skiddle. If you need to sell a ticket you can’t use any more, or buy a ticket, you can find out more via our post here: https://www.soundsfromtheothercity.com/2019/04/30/sounds-from-the-other-city-quindecennial-tickets-are-sold-out/

BOUND X SOUNDS X MARC THE PRINTERS

Our friends at Bound Art Book Fair will be setting up home in MARCs the printers where they’ll be working with photographer Ocean Farini to create and print a limited-run commemorative Quindeccenial zine on the day. Of the course of the day, they will be capturing events as they unfold, before putting it all together and making something truly special for Sounds fans to savour. Look out for the team on the site and you might be lucky enough to get hold of a copy or even feature in its pages and be forever part of SFTOC history.

More on the zine from Bound Art Book Fair:

We’ll be setting up home in MARC The Printers during Sounds from the Other City, where we’ll be working with artist Ocean Farini and writer & poet Tessa Harris to create and live print a limited-run commemorative quindeccenial zine celebrating Salford’s essential festival of music, performance and art.

Come say hello to our team on site and look out for the finished zine which we’ll be distributing across various venues well into the night…
