FÉMININFÉMININ is a response to ‘Masculin Féminin’ a 1966 film directed by Jean-Luc Godard and Féminin/Féminin a 2014 French Canadian web series about the lives of six lesbians living in Montréal.
Works will act both as a live process and a filmed spectacle to be released by LEGROOM after SFTOC 2018. Their array of artists will respond to our ‘Soundstown’ theme and the question “what would an ALL FEMALE Transatlantic town look and feel like”? Expect a fleshy mass of hysteria, moments of definite art and self reflection and gazing.
Three 2-hour durational performances will run throughout the day – pop in anytime and stay as long as you like!
