Luckily Pip Blom’s childhood dreams of competing in the Eurovision Song Contest never quite came to fruition – instead a lifelong love of Blur and The Breeders led to her honing a sweetly scuzzy sound, writing indie-pop tunes of her own before forming a group with her brother Tender and their bassist, Caspar.
Since then, they’ve gained fans in the form of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq, as well as sending critics in a tizzy with the jangling fuzz of a three track EP that’s set for re-release this year.
The public’s ears have been pricking up with equal rapidity – don’t get left behind.
